God's Timing and Waiting on God

Waiting on God

I'm Waiting on the Lord: To Send me a Husband

Why is that mostly Black Women are waiting on the Lord to send them a husband or their Boaz. I’ve never heard of any other race of women say that they are waiting on the Lord to receive love, a man or a husband.

Some black men will also use similar sayings (I’m waiting on the Lord or Gods timing). This is a conditioned fixed mindset that plaques mostly black women and some black men. No other race! I’ve never heard white people, the hispanic community, the asian or Indian community say this. Where did this saying come from? If you say it, why so? Is this what you believe or have adopted because it’s a common saying in the black community / black church community?

Yes, some things have divine timing. But it doesn’t take years and decades plus for things to happen. People take action and make things happen. Everything requires actions.

I am so tired of even up to this day hearing a woman almost 50 years old say that's she's Waiting on the Lord to send her a husband. This woman "wanted" marriage and children but maybe it's not apart of "God'sPlan?" This is too many Black Women story at 25, 35, 45, 55, 65 and by 70 they just accept that God didn't have it in his plan for them.  This is brainwashing! I am not judging because I was brainwashed and full of trauma as well. Ladies if you're waiting on God of a certain age, hell, even if you're in your 20's and waiting. You've gotta do several things to fix this mindset or end up like a woman in your bloodline that is 65+ and death meet her before God's plan on the Earth plane.

Everything Requires Action

If you want a degree, you decide on a path, research the school, make a plan for payments and when you can fit the classes into your schedule and start working on earning your degree.

The same thing if you want to take a vacation to a Country, you plan, research, see who can go, book, pay, tour, etc. Along with other things you want in this life, a career change, buying a house or something as simple as seeking out the best spa in town. The point is you take actions behind those goals you simply don’t say I’m waiting on the Lord in place of earning a degree. Or I’m waiting on the lord to go to the Spa, etc.

If you want love & marriage, you have to love yourself, have standards, boundaries, emit positive energy and be determined. Yes, this is a goal that has another person involved. In that case, you’d have to find someone who also desires marriage and desires you. And another thing stop saying "I want a God Fearing Man," if so, you need a lesson on Men. Most men are not God Fearing. Also, read my article I wrote on God Fearing Men here.

The Male makeup is different from the Female makeup. Men typically don’t focus on self love or work on themselves. You have to evaluate a man’s character and if he really wants you he will make the necessary adjustments to himself to keep you.

Secondly, you have to go where the men who are marriage minded. Most (not all) black men aren’t marriage minded. If so, they’d be married. Also, if you are fixated on a Black Man, you most defiantly be waiting a loooooonnnnnnggggggg time! Most of these men have been conditioned just as much as Black Women. They don't want to settle down until their 60's and when they do they're looking for a young woman to siphon her youthful Energy.

The amount of beautiful, healthy options of women are endless. Those men don’t want to be married. A lot of black men are still in the clubs, lounges, hanging out and playing women into their old ages. Their God timing is actual hospice wife timing.

So the next time you’re wondering when you’ll get married or if someone ask you when you’re getting married..think about is it really God’s timing or what actionable steps are you taking to make it happen. We must heal these generational sayings and emotional unavailability or the next generations of black people will continue to say that they are Waiting on the lord and in the same dormant spot until death.
